Hello, Katy here 👋 I thought I'd explain why I suddenly went quiet a few weeks ago. The gorgeous boy in the picture is Wilson, and we had to say goodbye to him two weeks ago. Wilson wasn't just a dog or a pet, he was my constant, my snuggle buddy, and he had my whole heart. As some of you may know, I've not been able to have children of my own, and Wilson really did fill that void for me. He was with us for over 12 years and brought me a lot of comfort during a lot of difficult times...failed ivf, endometriosis surgeries, countless endo flareups, job losses, isolation, loneliness, sleepless nights, and ALOT of tears...you name it, he was there right by my side. Whenever I was upset, he'd comfort me by licking away my tears and laying on my chest. He became very unwell very quickly, we had to make the very difficult decision to say our final goodbye to him and it has been utterly heartbreaking 💔 Wilson was the happiest, kindest, best shoe carrying, head nuzzling, most gentle soul. He was by my side through the bad times and the good, he made me laugh at his Wilson Weirdness, and I miss him very dearly. I'll be back with you all properly soon, I just need time to feel my feelings xxx (fb)
