Unrelenting. On July 9, Russia launched its largest missile and drone attack of the war, 741 missiles and drones, raining devastation across Ukrainian cities. The far-western city of Lutsk suffered the worst assault yet. Every strike on a civilian home doesn’t just injure or kill, it forces families to flee, adding to the millions already displaced. With minimal state support, these families are in desperate need, and as larger charities struggle to keep up, the responsibility falls increasingly on smaller organisations like New Forest for Ukraine. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local communities, we collect up to 25 tonnes of aid every month. But collecting isn’t enough. We need to get it delivered. That’s where you come in.
