Mevagissey Gig Club Home Mevagissey Gig Rowing Club About The Club Mevagissey Rowing Club stems from the days when rowing wasnt as competitive as it is today. The club formed in 1986 and by the following year through fund raising and help from Sports England Mevagissey were able to order their first boat Endeavour. We pride ourselves on keeping the original traditions alive striving to do the best that we can on the water. whilst maintaining a sociable club that might even strike up the odd sing song.
