🌱🧑‍🍳 We had a fantastic time at this morning’s ‘Grow, Cook and Share’ free family cooking, which is part of our Growing Through The Seasons community project at Penuel. Our spinach in the chapel garden has grown huge, so this week we made spinach and potato curry – Saag Aloo, which we enjoyed with Naan Bread and rice. 🥘 The children are becoming more familiar with Welsh cooking verbs and food names, and some were confident enough to ‘be teacher’ and quiz the rest of the group. 10/10 for pronunciation! We learnt a fabulous new word – ‘sbigoglys’ – spinach. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 We were blessed to share our meal together outdoors in the field, as the sun continues to shine. 😎 A huge diolch yn fawr to everyone who took part. 💚 Please note, there will not be any cooking club next Saturday. Last Sunday we welcomed Gary Brady from Childs Hill Baptist Church, London. During morning worship Gary spoke on Revelation chapter 3 verse 20, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me."
