DBM HQ and our volunteers will be taking a little break for the rest of the school summer holidays. Shout out to everyone who has helped keep things running over the last couple of busy weeks 🙏 ⚠️ A change to previous plans, we are unfortunately not able to run on 1st September, so our first session back will now be *8th September* ⚠️ We will be having our annual DBM Picnic on Wednesday 27th August at Mowbray Field Nature Reserve 12-2pm and would love you to join us, all are welcome. DBM mums, dads, grandparents and volunteers past, present and future. Come back for a catch up with your toddler. Join us with your baby for the first time. Siblings of all ages welcome to come along too. Bring a blanket and your lunch, and cross your fingers for a sunny day 🤞☀️ There is a list of alternative sources of breastfeeding support in our recommended resources Padlet (including the National Breastfeeding Helpline open 24/7 0300 100 0212), as well as lots of evidence-based information on all types of feeding, sleep and babywearing. We hope that you can come along to meet other local parents share experiences make new friends and find the supportive village that will help you to thrive in early parenthood. As well as being welcoming and inclusive social groups we provide evidencebased information and support to help you navigate life with your new baby. Our trained Infant Feeding Sleep Counsellor and PeerSupporters are always ready to lend a nonjudgemental and empathetic ear to anything on your mind.
