These programs are designed to address the diverse needs of those affected by violence and aim to prevent future incidents through community engagement and awareness campaigns.
Funding and Operations
The SAFE Society receives core funding from government sources but relies on annual fundraising efforts to maintain and expand its services. Despite this, the organization operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring consistent support for those in need.
Through its comprehensive approach, the Shuswap Area Family Emergency Society plays a critical role in addressing domestic violence and promoting safety and healing for individuals and families in the Shuswap area.
