The Dufferin-Caledon Drug Strategy Committee* invites the community to come together on Thursday, August 28, 2025, for the 8th Annual Overdose Awareness Day event. This important gathering aims to raise awareness about the impact of overdose, promote harm reduction strategies, and honour those affected. Overdose continues to affect individuals and families in every part of our community. It does not discriminate—it could be a friend, a neighbour, a colleague, or someone you love. This year’s event offers a chance to reflect, learn, and support practical solutions to prevent overdose and save lives. In recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day (August 31), the event will feature: • Informational booths • Naloxone training sessions • Commemorative activities • Light refreshments • Guest speakers with lived experience Event Details: 📅 Date: Thursday, August 28, 2025 🕓 Time: 4–6 p.m. 📍 Location: St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 5 First Ave, Orangeville, ON 🎟️ Admission: Free | Drop-in event Everyone is welcome.
