🌟Please join us in congratulating Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation Executive Director, Jodi Maroney, who was recognized with the 2025 “Visionary Award” during the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards on Thursday evening. 👏 Formerly known as the Business Person of the Year Award, the Visionary Award recognizes an individual that has demonstrated exceptional foresight, innovation, and leadership in their business, place of work or community by envisioning and implementing groundbreaking ideas, strategies, or technologies to shape the future of their business or community. Set to retire at the end of June, Jodi has spent the last 12 years as the guiding force behind all fundraising and awareness initiatives for Hospice and the Foundation including the initial capital campaign that made compassionate, end-of-life care a reality in our community. 💙 Congratulations and thank you, Jodi! And although that was her wish Molly and her family came to find out that home truly is where the heart is. Last year when Molly moved to Hospice it quickly became her home filled with her family. Her home was not a house in Dover it was the people in her Hospice suite her kids and their spouses her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren telling stories laughing joking and shedding a few tears.
