Last week, our Integrated Employment Services team hosted Fall Career Week — a three-day series of events connecting jobseekers with leading employers across customer service, finance, and multiple other sectors. Over the week, participants had the chance to network, learn directly from hiring employers, and take part in one-on-one interviews for exciting roles across the GTA. 🗓️ Day 1: Careers in Customer Service Workshop Featuring STAPLES Toronto — jobseekers learned about career pathways in customer service and connected directly with representatives for entry-level opportunities. 🗓️ Day 2: Financial Awareness Seminar Representatives from Sun Life Financial Services, Lynne Romero Financial Services, Gardaworld, and TD shared valuable insights into the financial sector and met one-on-one with attendees exploring roles in finance. 🗓️ Day 3: Multi-Sector Hiring Event Jobseekers met with employers including Paragon Security, Interrent Property Management, IFDS, GP Seeds, Carpe Diem, and Let’s Stop Aids for interviews in roles spanning customer service, sales, finance, and marketing. It was an inspiring week of connection, learning, and opportunity.
