<3 Raksha <3 Meet Raksha! This sweet 8 year old, 50lb gal is a real gem. She's healthy, strong and still has a lot of energy. She's looking for the good life and a safe and calm place to call home in her retirement from being a sled dog. Raksha is affectionate, gentle and chill in the house around her people. Usually, she finds a place on the floor to nap, but has been discovering the benefits of couch life. She asks for pets to continue with a gentle paw and a stare from her gorgeous blue eyes. So far, she has not shown signs of resource guarding, unless she has a prized bully stick she would prefer to eat in private. Raksha has been great with a couple dog-savvy cats in the house. Outside, she does find squirrels and small animals very exciting. She knows her name well and is quite responsive. With some training, she will be a wonderful outdoor companion. Raksha gets lonely and anxious on her own, so would prefer someone around throughout the day. She would also love another dog companion as she likes to follow her buddy around. She does great on car rides and enjoys outdoor adventures. This girl is ready to share her love with her forever family.
