What a great day at #BurnabyBlooms! 🌸🌷 We had a blast yesterday at Deer Lake Park as part of the festival, connecting with families, sharing laughs, and celebrating spring together. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, joined the fun and celebrated the season - it was amazing to see so many kids engaging and enjoying our face painting station 🎨 and spinning the prize wheel activity🎁. A big THANK YOU to the City of Burnaby - Local Government for bringing the community together through this celebration of nature, creativity and connection. Approximately half of the individuals BFL serves are from countries other than Canada. Our FRP programs served clients from 61 different countries of origin speaking 46 different first languages. Our pre and postnatal programs served clients speaking 31 different first languages with 80 nonCanadian born. Our LINC programs support the early learning and development of children of immigrant families.
