Agnes Manchul, an unsung hero in DeafBlind community, passed away peacefully on March 26th. Agnes dedicated many years of her life supporting DeafBlind community. A picture of Agnes was taken with our DeafBlind Specialist two years ago. We are also sharing a brief history of DeafBlind community in Alberta by sharing an excerpt about Edmonton Deaf-Blind Society, a former DeafBlind organization that existed in Edmonton years ago, in the Alberta Deaf News that was distributed in 1997.
