🧡 Today, we walked in solidarity to end gender-based violence for the Moose Hide Campaign @moose_hide_campaign. This movement is about more than awareness—it’s about action, healing, and standing up for Indigenous women, children, and families who are disproportionately impacted by violence. 📊 The numbers are heartbreaking: Indigenous women are 6x more likely to be killed than non-Indigenous women. Spousal violence against Indigenous women is 3x higher. 1 in 2 women in Canada aged 16+ has experienced physical or sexual violence. A woman or girl is murdered every 2.5 days in Canada. Indigenous men are 4x more likely to be killed than Indigenous women.
