This morning, the room at the Calgary Petroleum Club was buzzing with energy as we hosted our October Networking for Success Breakfast — “Navigating Career Transitions: Embracing Change and Redefining Professional Growth.” The event brought together newcomers, employers, and community partners for an inspiring conversation on how embracing change can open doors to new opportunities. We had the privilege of hearing from two remarkable speakers who have navigated significant career shifts with resilience and purpose: 🔹Andrew Duran, Legal Counsel at INOVA Geophysical, shared how blending his past expertise with new opportunities led to a unique and fulfilling hybrid career. Zain Z., Project Technologist at Pinchin in Canada and proud graduate of our Green Economy Training Program, offered a powerful story of restarting in a new market with adaptability, humility, and determination. Their insights sparked genuine dialogue among guests about courage, reinvention, and the art of turning transitions into growth.
