Kinark Child and Family Services

Kinark Child and Family Services is a prominent Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to children and youth. Kinark provides a wide range of services, including:

  • Child and Youth Mental Health: Offers a full range of assessment and treatment services for children and youth with complex needs and their families. These services are provided by an interdisciplinary team and tailored to meet individual needs in the most appropriate settings.
  • Autism Services: Provides evidence-based services for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aged 2 to 18. Services include Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Psychological Assessments, Speech-Language Pathology, and Occupational Therapy. Kinark also offers free Foundational Family Services for families registered in the Ontario Autism Program.
  • Forensic Mental Health and Youth Justice: Delivers court-ordered assessment, intensive treatment, and re-integrative services to youth with significant mental health issues.

Kinark has been serving communities for over 25 years, supporting thousands of families across southern and central Ontario. Their services are designed to help children and youth with complex needs achieve better life outcomes, addressing issues such as depression, anger, loneliness, difficulty in social interactions, and legal conflicts.
