Nine amazing women recently completed the Tools 101 course — a hands-on program designed to empower newcomer women with the confidence and skills to tackle basic home repairs. 🔨🪛🔨🪛 From learning how to safely use tools, to building their own workbenches and model walls, the group explored what it means to take charge of their living spaces. For four women who had just moved into permanent housing, the course offered the tools (literally!) to turn their new house into a home. Huge thanks to our facilitator Sharon Lau, and to our French community interpreters Sheila Macrae and Louise Boisvert for their incredible support.
