Inclusion Saskatchewan Inc.
Inclusion Saskatchewan Inc. is a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities throughout Saskatchewan. The organization operates as a registered charity under the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), with the business registration number 107955403RR0001.
History and Development
Inclusion Saskatchewan was founded over sixty years ago by Dr. John Dolan, who initially sought to understand the number of children unable to attend school due to intellectual disabilities. This effort led to the establishment of the organization, which initially aimed to give a voice to individuals with intellectual disabilities in the region. Over the decades, the organization has grown and expanded its scope to include a variety of initiatives such as crisis support, public education, systemic work with the government, and workshops for families.
Mission and Vision
The organization's mission is to build and inspire an inclusive Saskatchewan by empowering and valuing people with intellectual disabilities. Its vision is for all people to be valued, supported, and included in every aspect of life[2][3].
Programs and Services
Inclusion Saskatchewan offers a range of programs and services to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. These include individual and family advocacy, employment support, education and transition support, public education, youth programming, self-advocacy and social activities, family networks, and workshops. The organization also plays a significant role in impacting regional policies such as the Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disabilities program and Self-Directed Funding initiatives[2][4].
Impact
Today, Inclusion Saskatchewan directly supports over 2,900 individuals and families across the province and influences thousands more through its broader advocacy efforts[2]. The organization remains committed to ensuring that individuals with intellectual disabilities have opportunities and choices in all aspects of life, thereby contributing to a more inclusive society[3].

The Inclusion Luncheon 2025 celebrates the power of inclusion through impactful stories and community voices that highlight the value of inclusive hiring. We’re thrilled to announce that one of our speakers will be Tina Millar, and we’d like to share a bit of her story with you: Tina Millar grew up in Martensville, SK and is now living with her husband of 7 years in Regina. She is a strong advocate for herself and her peers who experience disability. Millar loves going out to do her public speaking. When she isn’t public speaking, she is working hard at the Northgate Safeway as a cashier/charity Captain. She spends a lot of her time volunteering with Inclusion Saskatchewan, People First of Saskatchewan/Regina and also with the Regina and District Labor Council. Her moto in life is “Don’t Dis my Abilities.” Join us to hear more from Tina and other inspiring presenters—reserve your seat for the Inclusion Luncheon 2025 today! https://inclusionsk-luncheon.rsvpify.com/ (fb)
