It's the last week of Occupational Therapy (OT) Month and we're celebrating all the occupational therapists at Providence who help patients regain independence, build resilience, and live life to the fullest. 🙌 To mark the month, we caught up with recent grad Alex Horner, who's been working as an OT in the inpatient psychiatry units at St. Paul’s Hospital. “I always knew I wanted to work in health care,” Alex says. “But it wasn’t until my third year at UBC that I even heard about occupational therapy. Once I did, it just clicked. It was everything I was looking for: a chance to support people in so many areas of their lives.” Learn more about Alex's path to occupational therapy: https://ow.ly/ThNr50XjkcK #OTMonth (fb)
