She’s incredibly food-motivated (a slow feeder is highly recommended!) and knows several basic commands. She’s currently working on impulse control and is always eager to learn more with the help of a treat or two (with the odd reminder to take gently!). Socially, Ashley can greet people with enthusiasm and a whole lot of wiggles. With other animals, she can be a bit unsure at first and may need some time and guidance to feel comfortable. She does best with well-balanced dog companions who respect her space. Once she’s settled, her playful side shines through. Fully house and kennel trained, Ashley is easy to have around the home. She walks well on leash, rides calmly in the car, and is always game for a weekend getaway. This summer, she’s been busy enjoying camping trips and is even learning how to paddleboard with her foster mom! Ashley is a medium-energy dog who loves daily walks, the occasional adventure, and cozy naps in her bed.
