We are so close to Ride for Refuge 2025! We are over the moon with the amazing support and excitement we have received for the Ride this year. It's inspiring to witness our community members registering, fundraising, and inviting friends to join together in support of refugees and immigrants in our city. Thank you so much to the incredible teams who have signed up and have done such an incredible job of fundraising. Thanks to all of their hard work, we have reached 66% of our fundraising goal! Summer is barbecue season! Our latest CHEF (Cooking Healthy, Economical Food) class took our clients outside for a barbecue in the sun to make burgers, coleslaw, and couscous salad! This program helps our clients learn about seasonal food in Canada as well as proper techniques for preparing various ingredients.
