Master Forager Shawn Dawson of Barking Kettle treated us all to a full feast of the senses at last night's Spring Greens Foraging Workshop. We got to smell, touch and taste so many goodies from the wild - and gained a new appreciation for so many delicious foods that we usually call weeds! We had an interactive walk and then a gourmet homemade buffet that featured pickled Japanese knotweed, stinging nettle pesto, alder mustard, green salad with dandelions and sorrel, fermented wild garlic, maple sweetened nettle lemonade and more!
