💙 Today is Severe ME Day - A Day of Recognition and Solidarity Today we honor those living with severe ME/CFS who are often the most invisible members of our community. For people with severe ME, daily life means: -Being bedbound or housebound for months or years -Extreme sensitivity to light, sound, and touch -Profound exhaustion that rest doesn't relieve Cognitive difficulties that make communication challenging -Social isolation due to their body's inability to tolerate activity They cannot speak for themselves at conferences, join support groups, or advocate publicly - but they are the heart of why our work matters. To those with severe ME: You are seen, you are valued, and you are not forgotten. Your suffering is real, and you deserve compassion, understanding, and quality care.
