Availability and Coverage

Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week upon request from police or individuals themselves. The society serves the Greater Victoria area, including communities such as Langford, North Saanich, Saanich, Sooke, and Victoria. Support is provided to victims and witnesses of various crimes, including assault, robbery, homicide, and traumatic events like motor vehicle incidents or sudden death.

Legal Status

As a registered charity, Greater Victoria Police Victim Services Society complies with the Canada Revenue Agency's requirements, thus enabling donors to claim tax credits for their contributions.

Access our Services To access our services please leave a message at 2509957351 or email infogvpvs. org What We Do Victim Services provides emotional and practical support to victims and survivors of crime or trauma. Crisis Response Program Victim Services provides onscene emotional and practical support to victims and witnesses of crime or trauma at the request of police during office hours Monday to Friday 900 am to 500 pm. We also provide telephone support after hours to victims and witnesses of crime or trauma at the request of police.
