Running from May 5 to June 4 in collaboration with the Toronto Public Library, this program invites Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) learners from across Canada to explore the exciting world of programming and build their digital skills. Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your knowledge, this is your opportunity to connect, learn, and grow through technology in a supportive and culturally grounded space. Sessions will take place Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM ET. Indigenous tech workers earn significantly less than their nonIndigenous counterparts and digital technologies often exacerbate issues of safety privacy and discrimination for marginalized populations. Our Impact Were committed to eliminating educational and employment gaps for Indigenous peoples.
