Executive Director Roger Parenteau to Depart Shuswap Community Foundation Salmon Arm, BC — July 7th, 2025 Shuswap Community Foundation announces that Executive Director Roger Parenteau will be stepping down from his role after nearly eight years of dedicated service to the Foundation and the Shuswap region. Since joining in 2017, Roger has helped guide the Foundation through a period of steady growth and impact. His leadership has been central to expanding the Foundation’s reach, strengthening relationships with donors and community partners, and increasing support for local initiatives across the region. “We are deeply grateful to Roger for his outstanding leadership and tireless commitment to our mission over the past eight years,” said John White, President of the Community Foundation. “His passion for community building and his ability to connect people and resources for the greater good have left a lasting legacy in the Shuswap region.” Roger’s departure represents a natural transition as the Foundation continues to build on the momentum of recent years. He is working closely with the Board to ensure a smooth transition as the search for a new Executive Director gets underway.
