We are pleased to introduce Clara Salameh as our incoming General Manager for the 2025-26 season. Clara is a multidisciplinary artist and arts administrator based in Vancouver. Before moving to Canada, she lived in Lebanon, Qatar, and the United States, an international upbringing that shaped her deep appreciation for community, creativity, and connection. Clara’s lifelong love of choral music began in childhood, when choir became a place of joy, belonging, and self-expression. Those formative experiences continue to inspire her. Clara is thrilled to join BC Girls Choir as General Manager. She is passionate about creating safe, inspiring spaces where young people can grow, collaborate, and find confidence in their voices, both on and off the stage. It is with mixed emotions that we share the news that Nicole Wright will be stepping down from her role as General Manager of the BC Girls Choir. Nicole’s final day with the choir will be July 31, 2025. Nicole has been a vital part of BCGC for over a decade, beginning as a dedicated parent volunteer before taking on her leadership role with passion and commitment. Over the years, she has helped steer the choir through many milestones—navigating the challenges of COVID, coordinating countless tours and performances, helping to guide our recent rebrand, and nurturing dozens of young singers. Her care and dedication have left a lasting mark on the BCGC community. Taking the role of General Manager is Clara Salameh, a multidisciplinary artist and arts administrator who holds a BFA in Film Production from the University of British Columbia.
