X Changes Artists' Gallery and Studios Society
The X Changes Artists' Gallery and Studios Society, also known as Xchanges Gallery and Studios, is a Canadian nonprofit organization that serves as the country's oldest artist-run center. It was founded by a group of artists over 50 years ago to address the challenges faced by local and regional artists.
Purpose and Mandate
Xchanges is committed to providing essential services for practicing artists, including:

Xchanges is continuing to celebrate Culture Days with lots of activities including an Open Studio Day this weekend! Check out Ella Chay's solo exhibition while you are there. Working with materials like acrylic paint and paper mache clay, Chay creates images that feel both familiar and strange. The pieces blend time periods, places and objects in unexpected ways, and reflects on the unpredictable nature of the subconscious mind. I Saw You in a Dream invites viewers to step outside of their everyday realities and into new, dreamlike spaces.
