🪅 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙎𝙎𝘼𝙂𝙀 𝙁𝘼𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙊 🪅 Joignez-vous à nous le samedi 17 mai prochain, de 14 h à 17 h 30, pour un fandango célébrant le finissage de 𝘍𝘜𝘙𝘌𝘜𝘙 𝘈𝘙𝘋𝘌𝘕𝘛𝘌: 𝘶𝘯 𝘳𝘦̀𝘨𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘥𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘦 d’Adela Goldbard. L’événement comprendra une performance musicale de Son Jarocho Montréal (@son_jarocho_montreal ). Pour clôturer, l’une des œuvres de l’exposition sera transformée en piñata, dans un geste de catharsis et de célébration. Tout le monde est invité à chanter, danser et profiter de l’ambiance festive. Du punch et du popcorn seront offerts tout au long de l’après-midi. Fondée en 2012, Son Jarocho Montréal est la plus grande communauté de ce genre musical au Canada. Elle promeut la culture mexicaine à travers des fandangos et des ateliers. Le son jarocho, typique de Veracruz, mêle chant, danse et instruments à cordes, portant une forte charge identitaire tant dans les paroles que dans l’instrumentation. Founded in 2012, Son Jarocho Montréal is the largest community of this musical genre in Canada. It promotes Mexican culture through fandangos and workshops. Son jarocho, typical of Veracruz, combines singing, dancing, and string instruments, carrying a strong cultural significance both in the lyrics and instrumentation.
