Wow! We had a jam-packed day full of SCIENCE at the first day of Exploring STEAM Futures hosted at UBC Okanagan by Okanagan STEAM Ecosystems and @wwest_ubco! We welcomed four classes from SD23 in Grades 4-6 for our HARNESSING THE POWER OF WIND program. 🌬️ This program explores renewable energy resources using wind turbine models and encourages students to think critically about the broader implications of wind energy and its role in the transition to a sustainable future!
