What a great joy it was to celebrate with Grandview Arabic Church last Sunday, as they held their first Sunday church service. It was a beautiful morning as many gathered for a time of musical worship, the preaching of God’s Word, Communion and celebrating God’s faithfulness through fellowship at the dinner table. The Fall session of The Learning Centre: Featured Courses is fast approaching! One of the courses being offered this fall is “Being Baptist and Being a Person of Love”, taught by Dr. Michael Haykin. This is a four-week course, and it begins Sunday, October 19. Michael Haykin is Director of The Andrew Fuller Center for Biblical Studies and Professor of Church History and Biblical Spirituality. Dr. Haykin has taught Church History at different institutions in North America and abroad for over 40 years. He is a member of the Royal Historical Society and Evangelical Theological Society among others. Michael is married to Alison, and they have two children.
