OSS recently held a fundraising concert in support of school programming, with performances by faculty and our school director and pianist. The performances were wonderful, and it was especially nice for school students to hear their teachers perform. A reception was enjoyed after with refreshments and treats. A big Thank You to all who helped make this happen, from the performers to the organizers to the attendees and donors. We hope to have another performance like this next year, and hope that you all can come! (fb)
End of the School Year means recitals, and they were fabulous - both for our guitar and violin groups. Everyone played magnificently. It was a year of fun, development, and camaraderie - to be repeated next year! *** Please don't miss our Faculty Fundraising Concert this coming Saturday, June 21, at MacKay United Church, 39 Dufferin Road, 2:00 PM. NURTURING PERSONAL EXCELLENCE Ottawa Suzuki Strings Our School Ottawa Suzuki Strings is a nonprofit music school that offers instruction in violin and guitar to children from ages 3 to 18 years. Our teachers nurture strong parentteacherstudent relationships celebrating achievements large and small. To complete a full musical education students participate in both private and group instruction creating a community of support for all our family members.
