🎓 Meet Nira! Nira came to BH in Grade 3 and spent her Grade 12 year leading the prefects as Senior School Head Girl. Nira also participated in Youth in Philanthropy club, and played basketball and ran track and field throughout middle and high school. This fall, Nira will be studying finance at the University of Manitoba's Asper School of Business and is considering a career in corporate law after getting her degree. Congratulations, Nira! 🎓 Meet Makenna! Makenna came to BH in Grade 10 and has been a dedicated member of the BH Blazers prep hockey team, leading them as captain this last season. In Grade 11, Makenna earned the Grade 11 Pre-Calculus Award, the Betty (Holden) Buggey RLA ‘26 Scholarship for her passion for skating, and the Dr. W. Grant Beaton Scholarship for science. Makenna has been awarded a full scholarship to Syracuse University where she will study biochemistry and compete in NCAA Division I hockey. Congratulations, Makenna!
