The Ottawa Jewish Community School
The Ottawa Jewish Community School (OJCS) is a pluralistic Jewish day school located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1949 as Hillel Academy, the school later merged with Yitzhak Rabin High School in 2006 to form the current entity.
Mission and Curriculum
OJCS offers a trilingual curriculum that includes instruction in Hebrew, English, and French. This comprehensive approach combines the teaching of Judaism, Hebrew language, and Jewish culture with the bilingual culture of Ottawa. The school is committed to strengthening students' characters, instilling a love for learning, and fostering a connection with Jewish values and heritage.
