ATA Strike Vote Update - June 25, 2025 We understand you will likely have questions about the potential for labour action. Negotiations are continuing between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (representing school boards and the Government of Alberta). While we do not know what will happen throughout the provincial bargaining process, in the event of labour action we assure you we are committed to clear, consistent and timely communication and ongoing support from WRSD leadership. WRSD highly values all our staff and the contributions they make to student success. We respect the bargaining process and remain hopeful that the provincial government and the ATA reach a negotiated settlement.
