In the late 1970s, four teenage girls from San Fernando Valley, Calif., deal with the rampant dysfunction in their lives. We are a nonprofit film society dedicated to presenting significant challenging and essential works of cinema art in Calgary. Our season runs year round with screenings happening biweekly in curated programs which situate each film in a thematic and historical context. We do this because we believe cinema is an essential form of artistic social and political expression.
