This past Thursday at Redwoods Golf Course in Langley, over 100 passionate supporters came together for our Fuelling Futures Community Breakfast to raise $26,813 through ticket sales, sponsorships, live auctions, and generous donations. Every dollar raised will help fuel five impactful regional park projects, including: 🌲 Expanding CTS Youth Society free summer camps 🌲 A new trail along Pepin Brook in Aldergrove Regional Park 🌲 Year-round horse riding access at Campbell Valley Regional Park 🌲 Native species plantings and habitat restoration at Campbell Valley Regional Park 🌲 Rewilding South Langley Regional Park, transforming former private land into a sanctuary for wildlife and people alike Our raffle prize winners have been drawn — Alex Little, Brienna Greenaway, and Wendy Dadalt — check your inboxes! We’ve received a $25,000 grant from the New Horizons for Seniors program to help more seniors get into regional parks! This funding expands our Bus Grant Program, covering not just transportation but also activity costs and leaders to create memorable outdoor experiences. Here are just a few fun ways seniors can enjoy our parks: • Guided nature walks & birdwatching • Outdoor painting & photography • Gentle yoga & mindfulness in nature We’re also working with groups to find mobility-friendly parks, ensuring everyone can access and enjoy the beauty of nature.
