Orchestra Update! 🎶 VS trombone Riccardo Nazario del Castello was recently in the town of Atina (Lazio region of central Italy) for the 'Atina 2025 International Masterclasses', where he performed Ferdinand David's "Concertino for Trombone and Orchestra" and Medieval duets by an anonymous composer, alongside Andrea Conti (principal trombone of the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia). This Masterclass was organized by L’Associazione “Lazio Cultura Eventi” LCE – APS under the guidance of professor Antonella Musilli and artistic director Michele Santorsola. To much acclaim in the press, this event brought "some of the most illustrious personalities of the international music scene to the Valle di Comino," with notable mention of Riccardo, "... a young talent from Canada with Italian roots, stood out, winning over teachers and audiences alike with his extraordinary expressive and technical skills."
