EXPLORER: Dr. Markus Brinkmann exemplifies how environmental stewardship demands exploration. An associate professor in the School of Environmental Sustainability and director of the Toxicology Centre, University of Saskatchewan, Brinkmann researches the effects of contaminants in aquatic organisms, and how they affect the ecosystem and human health. The ability to understand this impact requires modern facilities and research instruments at the Toxicology Centre.
