Today's BrightBox Micro School Spotlight is Valleyview Primary School. Swipe to see one of Simbi Foundation's technology training teachers on how to use the new EduTech. In February 2020, our Uganda team provided teachers at Valleyview Primary School with a BrightBox Micro, and trained them on how to implement the new educational technology (EduTech) into their teaching. More recently, we returned to measure and monitor the impact of the BrightBox Micro within the school, collecting important data indicators, and further training teachers in how to integrate technology into their educational goals. Valleyview Primary School is located in within the Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, Uganda, and is one of four schools where students have access to a BrightBox Micro. The solar-powered, suitcase-sized technology kit has an abundance of reading tablets, headphones, and equipment required to access to Simbi Learning Cloud, an extensive offline learning platform.
