Honoring a Legacy, Spreading Joy ❤️ In 2018, the Monteith family established a lasting legacy of kindness with a $5,000 donation to the KDCF, in memory of Jim Monteith. As a dedicated postman, Jim always looked out for the children in his community—making sure every family received toys at Christmas. Thanks to the Monteith family’s generosity, the interest from this endowment fund is used each year to buy toys for local kids, continuing Jim’s tradition of spreading holiday cheer. And with additional donations over the years from the Monteith family and others, the fund has now doubled in size.
