Part 2... earlier we talked about how to adopt cats and small critters. Now let’s chat about our canine companions! The adoption process for dogs normally* takes 3-5 business days: 🦴 You must fill out the application either online or in-person. And come prepared with 3 references to be checked prior to the adoption process being finalized. 🐾 Everyone living in the home must meet the dog first. If there are other dogs living in the home, or visit frequently, a meeting with them must be scheduled. Staff will then conduct a client education piece with you where you’re given all necessary information. 🐶 If everything goes smoothly then the application is approved, and you can take your new furry friend home with you! *There may be exceptions made based on distance to travel to meet, and the pet’s specific requirements.
