The Abbotsford Restorative Justice and Advocacy Association (ARJAA) is a Canadian nonprofit organization registered with the Business Number 881883318RR0001. It is recognized as a registered charity by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Mission and Purpose
ARJAA is a community-based organization that has been a vital part of the Abbotsford community for over 20 years. Its mission is centered on the principles of restorative justice, which focuses on repairing harm, restoring relationships, rebuilding trust, and transforming the community. Unlike traditional justice systems, ARJAA views crime as harm done to individuals and relationships rather than merely as the breaking of laws.

- ARJAA provides mentoring for young people who are involved in the restorative process with the police or in schools. Participants are matched with caring adults who offer support and encouragement during the process of making restitution or amends to victims or the community.

- The organization also offers conflict resolution and mediation services for community-based disputes, acting as an independent third party to help resolve conflicts peacefully.
Impact and Community Engagement
