This year’s graduating class began their academic journeys during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, overcoming unforeseen challenges with resilience and determination. As 2,800 graduands prepare to cross the stage, six undergraduates reflect on their most memorable experiences and offer advice for future Warriors. ▪️ Audrey Chen (BAS, Engineering) — A global thinker and innovator, Audrey completed co-op terms in the U.S., Japan, Singapore and Australia, applying her engineering skills in diverse industries and cultures. ▪️ Viktoria Cubelic (PharmD & BSc, Honours Science) — From campus labs to hospital wards, Viktoria turned her passion for patient care into purpose. ▪️ Tate Popple (Honours Arts & Business, Economics) — Tate combined an interest in economics with the entrepreneurial spirit of Waterloo. ▪️ Shazerah Qureshi (BMath, Computational Mathematics & Statistics, Co-op) — Shazerah found her place at the intersection of math, data and impact. ▪️ Charlotte Thorley (Geography & Aviation) — For Charlotte, the sky truly is the limit.
