Practical Vedanta Welcome to the Vedanta Society of Edmonton a Canadian charity established in 1985. The Societys mandate is to serve spiritual seekers in want of Vedanta in our lives through a process of selfinquiry and service to humanity. The Society follows the guidance of the iconic Hindu monk from India Swami Vivekananda who brought the vision of his master Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa to North America in 1893. The Society encourages membership with no philosophical or religious restrictions for people interested in spiritualizing their day to day life.
