🏀 This month, we’re proud to feature 14-year-old José — a talented and hardworking basketball player who’s been playing since he was 7. He began his journey with the Español de Osorno club in Chile and now plays with Raincity U14 here in Canada José loves the strategy of the game — creating plays, making passes, and hitting big shots. His favourite moment this season? Sinking a game-tying 3-pointer that sent his team into overtime! 🔥 Off the court, José has grown in discipline, responsibility, and respect — values he carries into his daily life. His parents have noticed his increased focus in school and commitment to training. 💪 🎓 Inspired by his brothers, José dreams of earning a college scholarship and continuing his basketball career. While adjusting to a new country has been a challenge, basketball has given him strength and a sense of belonging.
