⭐ Meet Our Team! ⭐ Today, we want to introduce you to Judith Gagnon! Judith is on our amazing Caregiver Coach team here at Caregivers Alberta. She’s approaching her two year anniversary as a Caregiver Coach! 🎉 To help you get to know Judith a bit better, we asked her a few questions: ❓ What is your primary role and responsibilities at Caregivers Alberta? “I have had the privilege to join the wonderful team of CA, as a caregiver coach since June 2023. My coaching perspective is enriched by my holistic approach to care, gained from my professional training as a registered nurse with years of practice within the field of palliative care, along with my personal experience as a caregiver, navigating the world of dementia, educating, and advocating for the needs of caregivers along the way.” ❓ What is your professional goal for 2025? “To seek opportunities for professional growth and development, for a coaching practice and skills grounded in compassion, humility, and authenticity. To learn from scientific research and other perspectives and/or approaches to enhance coaching experiences for caregivers. Wanting to do so, by reaching out, sharing, and seeking knowledge, support, and mentorships both from colleagues; tapping into our team members’ unique and respective strengths.” ❓ Please share an interesting fact about yourself! “I love traveling! During my twenties, I lived abroad for a couple of years while practicing nursing, traveling and hiking all over Europe and South America. I loved the feeling of freedom that came with traveling, and the thrill and fun of meeting new people, tasting new food, expanding my horizons, and learning about the history of the land I was traveling to. I loved adventures so much that when I became a mom, we later took our very young children on a road / camping trip over the big island of Hawaii. We rented a Westfalia with no AC… Something I wouldn’t recommend to anyone, and something I will not do again… ever! 😉 Traveling made me realize how grateful I was to call Canada my home. I was fortunate to drive across this beautiful country and given this great opportunity to admire its richness, its diversity of cultures, and amazing landscapes. Looking forward to discovering more of it, and living new adventures at home!” Thanks so much, Judith!
