Let's all practice what we heard preached this week, and bring our worries and cares to God, for he cares about us (1 Peter 5:7). Repentance is an act of faith and hope. We trust that as we humble ourselves and draw near to the unfailing love of Christ, our hearts will find deeper healing. (fb)

We can’t heal our hearts, which are divided and prone to sin. But we can humble ourselves, repent, confess, and praise God as we wait for victory. With our small acts of the will, we are called to turn from what we are caught in, our sin, and to return our gaze and affections to Jesus, recalling that He has never turned his face from us. We give our tiny efforts, the acts of simple faith, and God meets us in His infinite power and unfailing love, bringing healing and transformation. (fb)
