History
Hillside Baptist Church was formed in February 1974 by the amalgamation of three smaller churches: Hildegarde, Lutes Mountain, and Gorge. The founding pastor was Phil Stairs. Since its inception, the church has experienced significant growth and has undertaken several expansion projects, notably the opening of a new modern auditorium in March 2016[3].
Mission and Vision
The church's vision is to be a culturally relevant yet biblically-based "lighthouse church" with a strong focus on family ministry. It aims to build relationships and invest in the next generation by partnering with children, teens, and their parents. Hillside seeks to create a safe space for individuals from diverse backgrounds to explore a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
