Learn the basics of cookie making with recipes that you can customize, and get a crash course on piping and decorating cupcakes at our hobby workshop! This course will guide beginner bakers on all the basic essentials to improve and expand upon your baking. All materials provided, please bring along a container to take home your baked goods. Baking was an essential heritage skill during a time when shops, groceries, and other resources were not as readily available. It played a large role in the family dynamics that existed throughout Coquitlam and this workshop provides an opportunity for people to learn a new skill while immersed in our Edwardian heritage house kitchen.
