We honour the survivors, their families, and the communities forever impacted. Today and every day, we commit to listening, learning, and supporting the vital work of Indigenous-led organizations that are creating healing and pathways to justice. We recognize that a legacy of colonialism and discrimination has led many Indigenous families to face significant barriers to safe and decent housing. SHOUT OUT! 🙂 We send a HUGE "Thank You!" out to the terrific team at Gordon Food Services (GFS)! This great group kindly volunteered their time to lend a hand at our Moncton ReStore - and did an amazing job! They helped with everything from cleaning to furniture assembly to weeding, gardening, and pruning. Through their stewardship program, GFS is a wonderful partner of Habitat for Humanity. We are so thankful for their assistance, and for their ongoing support of Habitat's efforts. Together, we can build a better future for families in need of safe, affordable housing.
